BIOGRAPHY "PRINCESS DI: THE QUEEN OF HEARTS"
Diana Frances Spencer was born on July 1st, 1961, in Norfolk,England
She was the third of four children
Her parents were Edward John and Frances Spencer Viscount
Diana was a quiet and reserved child. She had a happy home life until she was 8 years old when her parents divorced. Her father won custody of the children
When she was 8 years old she was sent to boarding school, after that she went to another boarding school and then finally to a school in Switzerlan
She lived in an apartment with roommates when she got engaged to the princes of wales, Prince Charles
Prince Charles of Wales, is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II
Diana was the first wife of Charles prince of Wales
They got married in 1981
The wedding took place at St Paul s Cathedral in London on 29th July 1981 before 3500 invited guests
Diana was the first non-princess to be princess of Wales for centuries
She became well known for her charity projects
She was the most charismatic and publicly adored member of the British Royal Family
Diana had two children, Prince William of Wales on 21st,June 1982 and Prince Henry of Wales on 15th september 1984
In their first seven years of marriage, the prince and princess of Wales made official visits to nineteen countries
Years later, in december 1992 it was formally announced that the royal couple was separating
They divorce was finalised on 28th august 1996 after taht Diana ceased to be the princess of Wales
In 1994, Prince Charles admitted his relationship with Camila Parker Bowles
On 31st August 1997 Diana was involved in a car accident in the Pont de L alma road tunnel in Paris, along with her friend and lover Dodi Al-Fayed and their driver Henri Paul
Diana s funeral on september 6th 1997, was seen by billions worldwide via television
"A candle in the wind" the Elton John song about Marilyn Monroe was changed to fit her, and performed by John at her funeral
Diana today is still remembered by many as the "People s Princess"
She will always be remembered
